The companies in Aggrator's incubator program have once again demonstrated their strength in the capital market. For the sixth consecutive year, they have attracted over 100 million kroner in investments. In 2024, the total investment amount ended at 135 million kroner, of which Kilter accounted for the largest round of 91 million kroner.
This confirms the continued interest in agritech – a sector that will receive increasing attention in the coming years, driven by growing global challenges in food production and soil health.
Foreign investors dominate
The majority of the capital raised among the Aggrator companies comes from foreign investors. This shows that Norwegian solutions have strong international appeal, but at the same time highlights the need for increased engagement from Norwegian investors.
Anders Breivik, CEO of Kilter, found it difficult to find Norwegian investors when they raised capital last autumn.
– We tried for a long time to talk to Norwegian investors, but we had to go abroad and actually managed to do it there, despite a super-difficult capital market. I am very proud of that, Brevik says to Shifter.
Strong global growth in agritech
According to Research and Markets (2025) It is expected that the global agritech market will grow at an annual rate of 15 % between 2024 and 2032, reaching a value of 56.6 billion USD by 2032. The growth is expected to be driven by increased demand for advanced agricultural technologies and sustainable agricultural solutions.
Bjarne Tvete, CEO of Aggrator, emphasizes the importance of this trend:
– We are proud to see our companies raising capital to realize their solutions. Agritech is a sector that will see strong growth in the future. We hope this will contribute to increased interest in Norwegian investor communities, so that we create the most value possible in Norway.
