What if you could build software by describing what you want to create, instead of spending years learning how to code it technically?
We are in the midst of a technological shift. Those who learn to harness AI tools early will have a significant competitive advantage.
In the 90s, PC expertise separated you from the crowd. In the 2000s, it was knowledge of Google, SEO, and digital presence. In the 2010s, it was social media and content marketing. Today, it is the ability to work productively with AI – building, automating, and innovating with AI tools.
When you use vibecoder, you use generative AI as your programming partner to build apps, tools, and new solutions. Instead of writing line by line code, you describe the desired function and result – and let the AI handle much of the technical groundwork.
Vibecoding provides you with a quick and convenient method to test ideas, build prototypes, and showcase solutions to decision-makers – without spending a lot of time and money on development costs.
Vibecoding makes it possible to:
- Quickly go from idea to testable solution – hours instead of months
- Explore new concepts without major technical investments or budgets
- Collaborate better across roles, disciplines, and technical levels
- Learning how AI is actually used in practical development work, not just in theory
Vibecoding makes this expertise available to you – without you having to spend years learning programming. You don’t need to be a developer. You don’t need a technical background. You just need to learn a methodology where you think systemically and communicate clearly with the AI.
Vibelabs and Simon Souyris Strumse hold a course at BIT
To provide a good and structured introduction to vibecoding, Vibelabs Two courses at Aggrator at the BIT Innovation Center in Ås.
Vibecoding is a practical skill that develops over time through testing, experimentation, and learning in practice. Therefore, all participants also receive an invitation to free vibecoding meetups on May 28 and September 8, where you can continue to develop your skills.
Vibecoding Level 1 – build without coding
March 12, 9:00-16:00.
This course provides a practical introduction to vibecoding. You learn to take an idea from concept to working prototype in one day – without being a developer. The focus is on creative exploration, learning, and understanding the possibilities of the technology.
Perfect for: Founders, business leaders, consultants, product owners, and business developers who want to understand and practically utilize AI tools.
Registration here.
Vibecoding Level 2 – more powerful solutions in the terminal
May 12, 9:00-16:00.
Level 2 takes the next step, into the terminal and more professional developer workflows. Here you work with Claude Code and learn how AI can be used directly in the command line to build, debug, and further develop projects.
Perfect for: Those who have basic knowledge in place and want to take vibecoding to the next level.

Instructor Simon Souyris Strumse
Shifter Simon has been featured as the entrepreneur who turns the world of development upside down with so-called «vibecoding». Simon is a serial entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience in product development and entrepreneurship. He is one of the pioneers of vibecoding in Norway and is behind the country's most popular courses in collaboration with Shifter. Simon builds bridges between idea and technical implementation, and has a strong pedagogical ability to develop competence internally in organizations.
Useful to be aware of
Ultimately, vibecoding can turn a vague idea into a working prototype – whether it’s a website, a game, or a single tool – but it cannot alone make the solution reliable, secure, or robust. Such features still require established tools and practices, such as structured databases, access management, authentication, and thorough testing.
That doesn't mean that vibecoding is irrelevant to more serious development. On the contrary, it can be a very useful starting point, as long as it is used consciously and with an understanding of the limitations. AI-assisted development is becoming increasingly capable, and both development tools and platforms are increasingly integrating AI to lower the threshold for building software. The result is that the cost of developing digital solutions is dramatically reduced, and more people can participate in technology development than ever before.
This development is not temporary. It will continue to change how software is built, who can build it – and how organizations must adapt to a new technological reality.
