Frukt AS receives a new capital injection

  • Aggrator
  • 02/05/2024

Morten Blaauw is the founder and Managing Director of Frukt AS, a member of Aggrator. The company recently achieved an important milestone with pre-seed funding from Merem AS in April.

Morten is behind the development of 3Bag, a product that is crucial for the protection of fruit trees against pests.

The product is a machine-woven metal protection that has been developed in collaboration with renowned institutions such as the Norwegian Agricultural Advisory Service, NIBIO and NTNU, with support from the Regional Research Fund Viken. This mesh was originally designed to protect against wireworms, a type of nematode that damages trees by gnawing at the roots. Thanks to feedback from users, 3Bag has also proven effective against other types of nematodes and ground-dwelling pests. No wonder 3Bag has received such good and widespread praise!

The product's design and functionality make it a preferred solution for both professional users and hobby gardeners. 3Bag offers a cost-effective, time-saving, and most importantly, an environmentally friendly and pet-friendly method for protecting trees. The early version of 3Bag, produced in Asker, has already been well received in the market. In fact, the product sold out at the Hagemessen in Lillestrøm and has received widespread praise in relevant industry magazines such as Frukt & Bær, GartnerYrket, Park & Anlegg, and Hagetidend.

The company, in collaboration with Aggrator, is now working on making further adjustments based on feedback from users. At the same time, they are preparing for an internationalization of 3Bag, which testifies to Aggrator and FRUKT AS’s belief in the product’s potential and success.

For more information about 3Bag, interested parties can visit http://www.3bag.no, or order the product directly from the website or by visiting Kongsgården (https://bygdokongsgard.no/kontaktgartneriet).
